?LCD monitors are pretty much common in all homes, it is not often you see someone with a CRT monitor anymore. With LCD's being very common the standard seems to be 19 and 20-inch displays. If you want something larger you can go with 22-inch display, but you are still getting the same resolution so the next step up is a 24-inch display.
